APAC Financial Wellness initiative

Everyone has the right to good financial health and wellbeing, in order to live full and productive lives - at home, and at work.

Yet COVID-19 has exposed the fragility of our financial lives, and the grim toll of a financial shock on our collective physical, mental and financial health. Individuals, households and businesses across Asia-Pacific (APAC) are struggling financially,  and the ever-increasing mental, emotional and financial stress is having a devastating ripple effect on our communities and economies.

Joining forces together, and across sectors we can make a difference.

Workplace financial wellbeing program

We are advising Financial Resilience Australia (FRA) on the development of a Workplace Financial Wellbeing program, which can help employers to improve the financial health and wellbeing of their employees. FRA, as part of RMIT’s LaunchHUB pre-accelerator July 2020 cohort, is currently testing this evidence-based and holistic program, with an expected launch in early 2021.

Tech enabling Distance-learning for all

In our current skunk-works project, we’ve partnered with a leading technologist in Asia working on the low-cost solution that we didn’t know we needed, until COVID-19 descended upon us.

This global pandemic has forced families and school-aged children and academics across the world to reconsider the education process, particularly for those that lack the technological tools or wifi connectivity at home. COVID-19 laid bare the glaring disparity between the technologically included and excluded and this project will help to bridge that gap.
